Our Mission
To empower black career and business women globally to achieve their professional goals and unlock their full leadership potential through a supportive network that fosters mentorship, collaboration, and advancement.

The Founder
Dr Ayo Aboluwarin is a consultant paediatrician, with over 14 years experience in paediatrics. Her area of specialist interest is neuro-developmental paediatrics.
She founded Lodestar Women’s Network as an avenue to inspire, guide and equip black career and business women working in under-represented countries and professions to advance by accessing the support they need. She firmly believes we must lift others as we rise in our personal and professional pursuits.
She aims to address the under-representation of Black women in leadership and provide the support those who have migrated to countries, where they are a minority, need to thrive.
Dr Aboluwarin is an eloquent speaker, brilliant teacher and visionary leader. She enjoys reading, baking cakes, drinking tea and collecting fine stationery.
